  • Free summer meals offered at 74 HIDOE schools for children 18 and under

    The Hawaiʻi State Department of Education (HIDOE) announced that 74 public schools will offer free summer meals to children ages 18 and younger, starting June 9 through July 17. Meals are available Monday through Friday. Children do not need to be enrolled in public school to participate.

  • Career Pathways Program

    Career Pathways Program

    The Career Pathways Program is now open for applications. This opportunity is available to all class of 2026 students and young adults ages 18–24 (17, if graduated) and is open to both Boys & Girls Clubs members and non-members.


    Participants who successfully complete the program will receive a $300 completion incentive as well as workforce readiness training and career development support.
    Schedule:

    6/2 to 6/4 at 10:00 am - 2:00 pm | Doors open at 9:30 am

    Last day: 6/5 at 10:00 am - 4:00 pm | Doors open at 9:30 am


    Location: One Stop Resource Center; 100 Kanaloa Avenue, Kahului HI 96732

    You will build:

    • Workforce readiness development focused on real-world employment essentials, including resume building, cover letters, job applications, interview preparation, & financial literacy

    • Modern, essential workplace safety training delivered by workforce training provider specializing in recognized safety certification and occupational readiness standards designed to meet current workplace requirements and expectations

    • Direct engagement with employers and industry partners, offering exposure to real career pathways, professional environments, and potential opportunities across a range of industries
